I’d like to be remembered. At least for a bit.
I’d like to be remembered as a Granddaddy that laughed loud and loved big. One you knew was in your corner.
I’d like to be remembered as a father that protected as best he could, provided, gave good guidance, and loved without condition.
I’d like to be remembered as a husband, amazed that he went through life with such a woman, and so wanted her to have a better husband. And that it’d be him.
A solid friend. Trusted. There for you. Every time. Well, almost every time.
And, one who helped to bend the arc toward justice.
As one who tried.
I’d like to be remembered. At least for a bit.
I guess a lot of that’s on me.
I feel quite confident that you will be surprised when you discover how many lives you have touched in so many ways that you may never have realized.
